OhioLINK Borrowing Service
Current YSU students, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni, and courtesy users may borrow items from other OhioLINK libraries if the item is not available locally through the Library Catalog. Items available from other Ohio institutions can be searched and requested in the Library Catalog. OhioLINK requests can be delivered to an OhioLINK destination of your choice via a free service called Pick-Up Anywhere.
Please Note: OhioLINK deliveries take 3-5 business days.
OhioLINK Requests
To request an item, search your desired item under Search OhioLINK from the Library Catalog:
- Click the Check for available services under the item title.
- Select Get It button under the Get a Physical Copy or Get a Digital Chapter depending on what format your want.
- Fill the form of your information and Send the form.
- You will see the confirm information "The request was successfully submitted" in the next page.
- A YSU email will be sent when your item(s) arrive.
Viewing Request Status
To track the status of an OhioLINK request:
- At the Maag Library Home Page, select Library Account

Sign in to your library account.
- For YSU Members: Select Students, Faculty & Staff
- For YSU Retirees, Alumni, or Courtesy Users: Select Other Users. Click Reset Your Password when you log in the first time. A reset password link will be sent to your personal email account (if provided to YSU/Maag Library). Email adminmaag@ysu.edu for assistance.
- Click on the dropdown arrow on the right of your name and choose My library Card.
- You can view your loans, requests, fees and fines. Your OhioLINK requests are listed there.
