| The annual May Day celebration is staged and becomes a tradition for the next 35 years. The Automobile Mechanics School reorganized under the “Antioch College System” (e.g., distributive education). The YMCA leased the Henry C. Wick property at 416 Wick Avenue for classroom use, and the name of the institution was changed to Youngstown College (which would be affectionately nicknamed “YoCo” by many of its students. |
